AMD Decolletage History
1948 – Creation of “Perrolaz et Vachoux”
The company Perrolaz et Vachoux specialized in the watchmaking and connector industries.
1978 – “Perrolaz et Vachoux” becomes “AMD Décolletage”
The company is founded in Saint-Pierre-en-Faucigny (Haute-Savoie), in the heart of the Arve Valley, the historic hub of bar turning.
1996 – Construction of a second production site in Les Jourdies
2000 – Integration into the Savoy International Group, now renamed Groupe Savoy
AMD Décolletage joins the Mechanical Division of a structured industrial group, strengthening its investment, synergy, and innovation capabilities: the Groupe Savoy.
2002 – ISO 9001 certification obtained
2005 – IATF 16949 certification obtained
2011 – ISO 14001 certification obtained
2014 – Mont-Blanc Excellence Industries Label
Recognition for our level of industrial excellence and our global Lean approach.
2017 – Creation of the Groupe Savoy Innovation Center
Close collaboration with the group’s shared R&D design office, specialized in co-development, plastics engineering, assembly, and embedded electronics.
2018 – Acquisition of the company “Parroche et Dorioz”
2019 – Relocation of the industrial site
AMD Décolletage moves into a brand-new 9,000 m² factory located in Marnaz (Haute-Savoie). Modernization and expansion of production workshops, increasing production capacity to more than 350 million parts per year.
2020 – Expansion of the industrial site
Acquisition of the company GERVET Frères in Marnaz (Haute-Savoie)
2024 – Integration of DECOPREM (Alpes Usinage) into the Mechanical Division of Groupe Savoy
Groupe Savoy enables the integration of DECOPREM (Alpes Usinage) located in Marnaz (Haute-Savoie), into the Mechanical Division. The new entity specializes in aeronautics and defense — representing a diversification of markets.
2025 – AMD Décolletage: today and tomorrow
Today, AMD Décolletage represents more than 45 years of expertise and 150 employees who work every day to sustain and develop our know-how.
